What a wonderful find Perfect in every way. The old Bread Oven is set in a fantastic location, peaceful and within walking distance of some of the most beautiful places in Wales. We recommend a picnic on the beach at Broadhaven at sunset (take a torch for the walk home). Many thanks for a wonderful week, we can't wait to return.

This cottage ticked all the boxes for us, very well equipped, very comfortable and great location. Weather has been good! Explored lots of great beaches and places. The lilyponds are amazing! Broadhaven beach very sandy and great dog walk. Freshwater west beach and the angle cafe excellent, had great crab salad and gluten free rolls which were great. St Govan's Head cliff tops great for wildlife and if you get a nice 'still' sunny late afternoon as we did it's bliss! Very peaceful. Narberth town is well worth a visit, great shops, wisebuys deli was excellent, great for foodies who like cooking and needing unusual ingredients, wish I had one at home. Plum vanilla cafe did great pizzas and mixed salad takeaways in a box, tasted gorgeous! Stackpole walled gardens and then walk down to Barafundle Beach definitely worth visiting. Park at Stackpole as free car parking and walk down. Tea and cake in Stackpole walled gardens really good, plants for sale excellent value! St Davids town and Cathedral worth a visit, lots of interesting shops, very arty and crafty! Cathedral is an amazing sight too! Right up my street, being a scrapbooker! Well, now onto Shropshire, not sure the next cottage and area will match up. This place is definitely a place to re-visit and so glad we found this cottage, standards and attention to detail is a must and Chris and Jill you have definitely done this, thank you for all your efforts and home grown veg was amazing, tasted gorgeous! Bye for now and hope to come back another year, but will look early to get a chance this cottage is going to be sort after!!

Congratulations. You have the most wonderful cottage! So welcoming, you have thought of everything. Some lovely touches. We have felt so happy and relaxed here. A thank you from our border terrier, Amber too. We took advantage of the sunshine in the very pretty garden. The local pub is worth a visit. The cottage is a perfect base to visit the beautiful beaches in the area and of course the lilly ponds. I think by now you will have gathered that we will return to 'The Old Bread Oven'. Thank you very much indeed.

We have a huge dilemma...we really want to shout from the rooftops "What an amazing, wonderful, special, place!"...but at the same time, we want to keep it a secret, so we can come back and hide away in this beautiful little treasure! This is our honeymoon. We wanted something super special to stay in. We most certainly were not disappointed! Lovely long walks, lots of sunshine and so, so many amazing memories to take into our married life together. I usually look forward to the end of a break, I am happy with my lot, but this is one break I am gutted is ending. I cannot wait to come back again to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in this beautiful little heavenly retreat. Thank you for such a beautiful place!

What a great cottage in a fantastic location, the only thing to damper the whole experience was the weather (quite literally). A walks past the lilly ponds and onto the beach is a must. Many thanks for a great week.

We've absolutely loved our time at the beautiful Old Bread Oven - a real slice of heaven. Exquisitely furnished with such attention to details and special touches everywhere. We wouldn't change a thing - perfect! Good local pub - St Govens Inn...great walks along Coastal Path, St Govens Head Lilly Ponds well worth visiting at quieter times. Stunning beaches at Broad Haven and Barafundle. We found the Stackpole Inn very good quality food and beer, excellent fish dishes. Another excellent hostelry is the Old Point House, Angle, reached along a track which forms the Coastal Path. The pub is very rustic, totally unspoilt but serves decent grub and beer. Also if you are near Freshwater West try the Lobster burger from the van, scrumptious! Many thanks for making our stay so memorable, such a lovely place. We will be back!
